It is with mixed emotions that we write to inform you of an important development regarding our medical practice. After serving this wonderful community with dedication and care, Ki Hassler, DO will be closing the practice as of August 29, 2025. However, we are pleased to share that Dr. Aneley Hundae of Port Charlotte Cardiology (Port Charlotte Cardiology, Dr. Aneley Yegezu Hundae) will be transitioning into our current location. He will use this location as his second office, where he will continue providing the cardiology care you need. We believe Dr. Hundae will continue to provide care in a manner befitting Dr. Hassler, maintaining the same commitment to quality and patient-centered service.

This decision has not been made lightly, as it has been an honor to provide medical care to you and your family. We are incredibly grateful for your trust and loyalty over the years.

To ensure a smooth transition:

We will continue to see patients up to the closure date.
If you choose to continue your care with Dr. Hundae, you may contact Port Charlotte Cardiology for further details. To transfer your records please use this form: https://forms.gle/GJHvadYoWP6xfP8eA
If you choose to go elsewhere, please speak with your primary care provider and insurance to determine which Cardiologist is best for you. (We will not be able to provide referrals.)
If you require prescription refills during this transition, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements.

Your health records from this Practice will be transferred to Morgan Records Management, LLC (the “Records Custodian”). The Records Custodian will maintain your records following applicable confidentiality and security standards and with other applicable laws. Your records will be destroyed no less than 7 years after the last date of services you received from this Practice.

If you wish to have a copy of your records sent to you or another provider or facility, you may submit a request to the Records Custodian:
